QPEC possesses the proprietary technology for the storage tanks fabricated with the large composite plate and the profound engineering design experience for more than 100,000 M3 Storage Tanks. The total Oil Storage Tanks for Huangdao First Stage Project of Qingdao Qirun (Huarun) Co. Ltd., general contracted by QPEC, is 400,000 M3, including 3 storage tanks of 100,000 M3 and 10 storage tanks of 10,000 M3, with the storage and transportation capacity of 700,000T/Y refined products and 3,000,000T/Y crude oil. The storage tank area and the off side oil transferring lines of this project occupy an area of 45.95 and 2.31 hectares, respectively. The tank farm was completed and put into operation in 1996. The construction of 2 storage tanks of 50,000M3 of Qingdao Qirun Co. Ltd., designed by QPEC, was completed in 2001. Longkou 40,000M3 storage and transportation facilities for the liquid chemicals, designed by QPEC, was completed and put into operation in 2004.
