Shandong Qilu Petrochemical Engineering Co. Ltd ("QPEC") is located in Linzi, a famous historical and cultural city in China and former capital of State of Qi. Its precursor is SINOPEC Qilu Petrochemical Engineering Corporation. Founded in 1971，QPEC is a comprehensive, scientific and technological type service enterprise for engineering construction with research and development of petrochemical production process and equipment, technology transfer, engineering consultation, engineering design, EPC, project management, project supervision of construction, exploration and survey and translation service as a whole and possessing of EPC capability and PMC management functions. It was identified to be a state-level high-tech enterprise in 2008. QPEC has a registered capital of 120,000,000 Yuan, with its headquarters located at Zibo City, Shandong Province.
Since its establishment more than 40 years ago, especially since restructuring, QPEC has devoted itself to building up a well-known national engineering company that can provides customers with whole process of service for engineering projects and has made good progress thereof. Accumulatively over 1800 projects have been completed, attaining outstanding achievements in projects.
QPEC is in possession of numerous qualification certificates, including those of 1st Grade engineering design，1st Grade project construction supervision, design for pressure vessels and pipe lines, 1st Grade project EPC, 1st Grade engineering consultation, 1st Grade project survey and foreign project contracting. It is certified to comply with GB/T19001-2016-ISO9001:2015 quality management system, GB/T 28001-2011 occupational health and safety management system, GB/T 24001-2016 idt-ISO14001:2015 environmental management system and HSE management system.
QPEC has an experienced workforce covering all disciplines for conducting its business. It now has 600 employees for engineering technicians and administration, of which, more than 360 have senior and intermediate technical titles and nearly 300 are nationally registered engineers.
For technology research and development, QPEC has completed successively technology research and development in production process as MTBE/butene-1, BR，ethylbenzene/styrene, SBR, butene oxidative dehydrogenation to butadiene, NBR, dilute ethylene to EDC, C4 separation, MEK, TBA, high-purity isobutene production with MTBE cracking etc, by taking such items as objects as comprehensive utilization of oil refining, ethylene, MTO dry gas production with byproduct, LPG and other byproducts as well as absorption and research and development of production process for synthetic rubber and its raw materials. Up to now, QPEC has been 68 national patent technologies (proprietary) which have been successfully subjected to a technology transfer and in industrial application.
For project management/supervision and EPC, QPEC has participated in most of the project management/supervision and EPC for the national ethylene plants as well as project construction or EPC for most of the domestic large oil refineries, large caustic soda plants, large-size coal-chemical plants (coal to oil, coal to olefin and coal to NG), polycrystalline silicon and other large-scale petrochemical projects.
QPEC is active to expand international business areas, cooperates effectively with tens of large foreign engineering corporations and licensers in multi-channel, multi-level and all directions, and accumulates rich experience in foreign cooperation.
QPEC has successively obtained tens of honors as One Hundred Classics or Excellent Projects (2 prizes for 20 plants) since establishment of 60 anniversary of New China, Luban Prize for China Architectural Engineering (6 prizes for 21 plants) , National Prize for Scientific and Technical Progress, Gold Prize for Design of National Premium Projects, Silver Prize for Design of National Premium Projects, Prize for Scientific and Technical Progress by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Association, Excellent Design Prize by SINOPEC and Shandong Province, Prize for Premium Projects in Chemical Industry, Gold Prize for Premium Projects in Petroleum Industry, Prize for Premium Projects by SINOPEC, “Mountain Tai Cup”-the top prize in quality in the construction industry of Shandong Province, “Sincerity Organization” in national engineering survey and design industry, National Advanced Organization in Management of Construction, National Advanced Organization in Project Supervision etc.
